We’re in a spring mood here at Composure and put on our rose-colored glasses to take a look into the floral-inspired beauty trends that are budding on the runways (page 24). Also coming forth is a fashion style that gets our inner modern woman all ruffled up (quite literally) with the perfect wavy details (page 14). But the prettiest beauty products and fashion threads are not the only treasures emerging out from the winter cold. It’s Sarah Wayne Callies who puts the spring in our step with our cover story as she, once again, defies the mold that often defines the role of women as wives and mothers (page 52).
We also have gems like Keith Powers (page 16) who can often be seen in roles that tackle challenging topics, professional dancer Sharna Burgess (page 6) who shares how she stays strong in mind and body, and actor David Anders (page 32) who isn’t just the villain that we love to hate, but takes a moment to share what he finds invigorating, humbling, and comforting in life. Sounds like the perfect way to welcome spring.
Just don’t forget to put on your rose-colored glasses.
