Dubai, of all cities, can make even the most sophisticated woman feel like she is performing. Amid the glint of skyscrapers and the not-so-soft obsession with perfection, Dr. Kübra Zengin Altıntaş has carved out a space where precision is seductive, and science dares to flirt with aesthetics. She is not a conventional doctor, and this is not a conventional practice. Functional gynecology, aesthetic refinement, hormone orchestration, these are her instruments, and she wields them with the confidence of someone who understands that empowerment is the ultimate luxury.
Based at Aesthetics by King’s College Hospital London in Dubai Marina, she is a functional and aesthetic gynaecologist whose work spans the breadth of intimate health: hormone optimisation, pelvic floor therapy, advanced diagnostics, and a spectrum of aesthetic interventions.
Dr.Kübra sees bodies as narratives, histories, and vessels of confidence and she treats them accordingly. A consultation with her is not a routine appointment but a meticulous, almost investigative conversation, one where science meets intuition and function is considered inseparable from form.
Her training, which began at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University and was refined in Ankara, has been applied internationally, yet it is in Dubai, a city of extremes and exacting standards, that her approach truly finds resonance. Here, patients do not simply seek solutions, but they seek expertise and the rare assurance that their wellness, vitality, and dignity are treated as a priority.
In a field that still treats women’s health in fragments, Dr. Altıntaş refuses the neat boxes. Her work is precise without being clinical, exacting without losing humanity. Each consultation is rigorous, yes, but also revealing: patients leave not only with answers but with a confidence that feels almost deliberate, as if she has handed them a script for inhabiting their own bodies on their own terms.
We sat down with Dr. Altıntaş to understand the philosophy and curiosity that define her practice and to hear, in her own words, how she reimagines what it means to care for women today.

Dr. Kübra, could you share what inspired you to specialize in both functional and aesthetic gynecology?
I was inspired by the many women who sat in front of me saying, “I know something is wrong, but I keep being told it’s normal.” Hearing their frustration and pain pushed me to dig deeper with functional gynecology, to truly understand what their bodies were telling us. At the same time, I saw how deeply their confidence and intimacy were affected, which led me to aesthetic gynecology. For me, it’s about giving women back not just their health, but their self-trust and joy in their own bodies.
How does your training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa and Etlik Zubeyde Hanim Hospital influence your practice today?
My years at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa gave me a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine, while Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Hospital taught me the human side, listening to women’s stories and treating them with empathy. Both shaped the way I practice today: with science, but also with heart.
What does holistic women’s health mean to you, and how do you integrate this philosophy into your treatments?
For me, holistic women’s health is about listening to every layer of a woman’s story, not just her symptoms. That’s why I combine functional medicine testing, personalized therapies, and aesthetic care to restore both well-being and self-trust.
You offer a range of non-surgical treatments like vaginal rejuvenation and labial augmentation. Can you explain how these procedures enhance both function and aesthetics?
I see these treatments as a way of giving women back comfort and confidence. Vaginal rejuvenation can ease dryness, improve sensitivity, and support pelvic health, while labial augmentation can restore volume and symmetry. Together, they help women feel both comfortable in their bodies and confident in their intimacy.
Could you elaborate on the FLASH Protocol and its benefits for hormone therapy in women’s health?
For me, the FLASH Protocol is powerful because it treats women as whole beings. It’s not just about prescribing hormones; it’s about guiding them on how to eat, live, move, and support their bodies with the right supplements, and then adding hormone therapy when it’s truly needed. This way, women feel healthier, stronger, and more in control of their lives, not just their symptoms.
What advancements have you observed in the field of aesthetic gynecology over the past decade?
I’ve seen a real shift; women now have safer, less invasive options. Instead of only surgery, we can offer treatments like laser therapy, radiofrequency, or regenerative injectables that enhance both comfort and confidence. It’s been amazing to see how these innovations improve women’s quality of life.
How do you ensure a personalized treatment plan for each patient, considering their unique needs and concerns?
Every woman has her own story. I spend time understanding her symptoms, lifestyle, and how she wants to feel about her body. I also use functional diagnostic tests, like hormone panels, gut health, or metabolic assessments, to get a clearer picture. This allows me to create a plan that supports her health while achieving her aesthetic goals, so she feels whole inside and out.
What role does patient education play in your practice, especially regarding intimate health and wellness?
I see education as the first step of healing. When women understand what’s happening in their bodies, whether it’s hormonal changes, pelvic floor issues, or aesthetic concerns, they feel less fear and more control. That knowledge builds trust and helps them actively participate in their treatment.
Can you share a memorable patient success story that highlights the impact of your treatments?
I once treated a woman in her early 40s who had severe fatigue, mood swings, and irregular cycles. With functional testing, we discovered hormonal imbalance and gut issues. Through a personalized plan, nutrition, supplements, and bioidentical hormones, she regained her energy and balance. She had also lost confidence because of changes in the look of her intimate area, so we combined her treatment with non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Restoring both her health and her confidence, she told me, “I feel like myself again after years.” Moments like that remind me why I do this work.
Having worked internationally, how do cultural perceptions of women’s health influence your approach to care?
My international experience showed me that women everywhere share the same needs, but culture shapes how freely they speak about them. Some can open up easily, while others carry silence because of stigma. By being gentle and sensitive, I create a space where every woman feels safe to share, and that’s when real healing begins.
What challenges and rewards have you encountered while practicing in Dubai, and how have they shaped your professional journey?
The pace of medicine in Dubai can be intense; it’s competitive and always evolving, which can feel challenging at times. But I see it as a gift, because it gives me access to the newest technologies and the chance to work with women from so many cultures. That diversity constantly inspires me and pushes me to keep growing, both as a doctor and as a person.
What emerging trends in functional and aesthetic gynecology are you most excited about?
I’m excited by how care is shifting toward treatments that feel more intuitive, gentle, and empowering, not just fixing what’s wrong but helping women thrive, feel confident, and comfortable in their own bodies.
How do you foresee the integration of regenerative medicine impacting women’s health treatments in the near future?
I see regenerative medicine transforming women’s health by moving us from symptom management to true restoration. Instead of only treating problems, we’ll be able to support the body in healing itself, improving function, intimacy, and overall vitality in ways that feel more natural and long-lasting.
How do you maintain a balance between your demanding career and personal well-being?
Balance is something I work on every day. My career is very demanding, but I make sure to protect time with my son and family; those moments give me the most joy and keep me grounded. What truly recharges me are the little things we share together, from laughter to everyday moments, which remind me there’s so much more to life than work.
What advice would you offer to women seeking to prioritize their health and wellness in today’s fast-paced world?
I always tell women: your health is not a luxury, it’s your foundation. Even if life feels too busy, give yourself permission to pause, listen to your body, and make small choices that support your wellbeing. Those little steps build strength and confidence.
