A Cut Above
Actress and dancer Rachele Brooke Smith proves style and a six-pack go hand in hand.
Rachele is no stranger to hard work. Sure, she can cut it up on the dance floor — her repertoire includes jazz, hip-hop, ballet, modern, tap, and break-dancing (phew!) — but she’ll also wow you with her boxing, martial arts, and gymnastics skills. Oh, did we mention the multi-hyphenate is an actress, too? Her latest film, “The Nice Guys,” starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, is out May 20. She’ll next star in “Cold Moon,” alongside Christopher Lloyd, which hits theaters October 28.
“Create a world for yourself that is supportive, loving, and kind.” – Rachele Brooke Smith
Though she may look impenetrable, Rachele knows what it’s like to suffer from self-doubt and extreme pressure. After leaving the professional track for gymnastics, Rachele searched for a definition of fitness that was more about loving yourself. Today, she’s devoted to spreading her philosophy of using the arts and athletics as therapy for life through her motivational web show, “Unbreakable.”
